[Terra Angelica]

A good song with a few griping bits.

The opening part of the melody is alarming is similar to While My Guitar Gently Weeps. The riff breaking up the "Is it worth it" bit started off sounding very Nirvana, reminicent of Heart Shaped Boxed. Then turned into a quiter section which really needs less distortion, it just agitates the ear at that part. Then becoming an eastern influenced psychedelic thingy, which was going somewhere and then got cut short abruptly. Really should have expended that into something bigger.

Nice riff idea around 5:00 again. It needed to go into one of the old ideas again after that, constant new material is great creatively but you need to have a level of repition.

Really nice peice of music! The harmony is perfect, it allows your voice to shine through while still keeping things together. Goth isn't the right genre, it's psuedo classical really. But the main thing is that it's a very nice peice of music. Great voice, keep it up!

Hey! Thanks for the review - yeah, I wasn't sure if it was goth or not - I think the lyrics could be in that style ... I think? But I can see why you'd put it into the classical genre. :)

[Cotton Field Blues]

Meh

The Lack of the whole blues sound kind of killed it for me. No blues scale 12 bar blues. And since you said cottonfield blues and thats not what we get with it. I would have to say as a song it isnt great. but when you compare it to what the title implys its worse. Also very repetitive and no vocals.

yeah, shouldn't be classified as blues but i didn't know what the fuck else to put it as. It is repetative yes, but I sorta like it that way so thats how its gonna stay. I would hope you didn't give me a lower rating because of a bad title tho?
